Woods Tire Center, Inc. is a family-owned commercial tire and roadside service company based in Conley, Georgia, with additional service locations in McDonough, Jackson, and Carnesville. For over 40 years, we’ve provided 24-hour mobile and in-shop truck service to drivers and fleets across Atlanta, Macon, Augusta, and throughout the state of Georgia — even extending into parts of South Carolina.

We do not provide towing, but we handle nearly every other roadside and fleet service you might need. From mobile tire replacement and DOT inspections to air leak repair, lockouts, and fleet maintenance, Woods Tire Center keeps your trucks and trailers rolling safely 24/7.

Our certified technicians service tractor-trailers, box trucks, dump trucks, buses, and commercial fleets, both in-shop and on-site. We’re fully equipped for statewide mobile response and travel anywhere customers are willing to pay the standard service mileage rate of $1.50 per mile one way.

Every Woods Tire Center service truck carries the tools, air systems, and parts necessary to complete most roadside repairs immediately — no waiting on third parties or tow trucks.

About Us — The Woods Tire Center Legacy

Woods Tire Center, Inc. is one of Georgia’s longest-standing, family-owned commercial tire and roadside service companies. Founded in 1983 by Virginia Wood, a single mother of six, the company began as a one-woman operation in her garage on family property in Conley, Georgia. With determination, skill, and faith, Virginia built her business from the ground up, working day and night to keep truck drivers on the road and safe.

At a time when few women worked in the trucking or tire industry, Virginia became a trailblazer — known for her toughness, honesty, and dedication to doing the job right. The same property she started on still serves as the home of Woods Tire Center today, more than four decades later.

Her son-in-law, Howard, became one of her first tire men, learning the trade directly from her side as the company began to grow. Her oldest daughter, Angie, managed A.D. Truck & Trailer for years before moving out of state, expanding the family’s reach in the commercial trucking world.

Her oldest son, Brad, began learning the trade at just 15 years old, practicing for years under his mother’s guidance until he became one of her best tire men and a trusted leader in the shop. After Brad’s retirement, the business remained in the family under Jason, Virginia’s grandson, who proudly ran Woods Tire Center until his passing in 2024.

Today, Woods Tire Center is operated by Virginia’s granddaughter, also named Virginia, who carries forward the same mission and pride that built the business more than forty years ago. She is guided and mentored by two generations before her — her grandmother Virginia and her mother Angie — making Woods Tire Center a true three-generation family operation.

From that original garage to a statewide service network covering Conley, McDonough, Jackson, and Carnesville, Woods Tire Center remains family-run, faith-built, and driven by integrity — keeping Georgia’s commercial trucks and fleets rolling safely, 24 hours a day.
